The Beirut meeting was the first in a series of preparatory meetings organized by the UNDP-POGAR and the OECD in preparation of the launching of the "Initiative on Good Governance for Development in the Arab Countries". The meeting was organized in co-operation with the Office of the Lebanese Minister of State for Administrative Reform.
